Urban Moment X
"Urban Moment X" is an original painting documenting the landscape of Melbourne, Australia where I lived for a year. This painting is the tenth installment from the "Urban Moment" series, which documents the landscape and activity of famous cities around the world. A good portion of Melbourne's unique and familiar architecture, the iconic wildlife birds, and fishes are other features that I felt needed to be included in the layout of this piece. There is also a tourist boat, which is a typical site in Melbourne that pays homage to the well-loved tourist city that Melbourne is. This painting was created using mostly natural daylight and acrylic paints. There are water-based acrylic paints as well as thicker compound acrylic paints used to give texture to the piece.
